I think it depends on the position that the man has. We have different expectations of men in different positions. The glass escalator effect helps men get advantages in female job over women. In some” female" professions, males still have advantage in hiring and promotions. For example, it mentions in the article that one of the interviews says that it’s nice to have male in pediatrics.
